The Resilience Notebook

The biggest obstacle Founders, Entrepreneurs, and salespeople have in reaching their full potential is overcoming their mental roadblocks.

Their minds just aren’t prepared for the daily onslaught of challenges.

They haven’t built in the resilience or mental toughness to get them through the day, week, month, or year.

Here’s one tip to build your mental toughness:

Create a Resilience Notebook. This can also be a phone, tablet, etc.  Whatever it is, always keep it nearby.

When something negative happens or you get knocked down, get out your Resilience Notebook and:
·        Write down exactly what happened.
·        Next, write down how you feel about it and why.
·        Ask questions about the event. Think of the 5 W’s and an H.
Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How.

Keeping a Resilience Notebook will not only help you with your current situation, but it will also give you a history to refer to the next time you get knocked down.

Your recalling how you made it through a previous or similar tough situation, will empower you to make it through the current one.

Remember: Knocked down seven. Get up eight.
